Despite Humax fixing the infuriating freezing problem with the 9300T pvr, this is still an unsatisfactory piece of kit (and we're on our second machine: the first failed soon after purchase). The programme guide takes an eternity to load; if you set the machine to switch on / off at set times, it can lock up if you switch it on / off at other times then restarting it wipes the recording schedule, and the 'recording' display readability is hopeless unless you are a few inches away. It is also, still, prone to freeze now and again, for no clear reason (so you have to turn off and on and lose the recording schedule). In general, you just can't trust the thing to work properly (eg when you're on holiday).Wouldn't buy a Humax again.
