Bought the PVR 9300T online from Martin Dawes in October 2008, but Humax insisted that all two-year guarantee problems be directed to them. MD went bust, via a pre-pack, and no longer deal with my area. PVR froze from shortly after I bought it, and eventually was replaced by a refurb by Humax. That one froze almost immediately, and has continued to do so ever since. Its problems are getting worse, yet all Humax does is tell me how to reset it, which I have done many times. Then they said they would send curative software down the line in January, then 4 February, so to keep it on; it always is, unless I turn it off briefly every time it freezes - sometimes several times a day. Now the problems are increasing, and yesterday all my stored programmes disappeared. Many, many e-mails to Humax - suspect Colin doesn't exist, and thinking I was just getting there again, as I was asked for the serial number and my address, yet again, the e-mails have reverted to the how to reset. Despite giving a two-year guarantee, they replaced the original with a refurb, and say that they will do so again, and the the guarantee period runs from the supply of the first rubbish machine. I am reporting Humax and the cowboys who purport to administer customer care to those stupid enough to have bought the Humax PVR 9300T to Trading Standards. Wish I had gone for SKY+!
