When I was told we would be studying and watching 'Blood Brothers' for part of my GCSE i didn't have any knowledge about the plot, the characters or even where it was based, and after reading negative interview after negative interview on this website I thought that it would be the worst performance i would ever see in my life. I was wrong. I thought that the music was great, and the songs were well placed throughout the play, the acting was excellent in pretty much all places but could have been used more effectively but I actually got more locked into it as it progressed and by the end of the climax i thought i could keep watching it over and over again! A truely gripping performance with only one or two points that have room for improvement (I am sorry for the poor spelling every now and then but i was in a rush typing this up) Hope this helps...
There is one complaint i would like to file to all reviewers. Please take time filling in reviews and answer it honestly and only if you have seen the play. If not please post questions in or, even better go see it before the last performance is up!
