Garwick to Luxor and back. Had read many horror stories about Monarch, especially lack of space, so went for extra legroom seats. 3+3+3 seating on way out: at front of block so yards of leg room, seats VERY narrow !
Flight back: 2+4+2 seating in front cabin, good legroom, seats good width.
£35 extra each way - VERY good value.
Food was average airline mush, at least it was hot. Crew very pleasant and efficient. Both aircraft were A300s: in good order, everything worked fine including the loos. Both flights spot on time.
On this experience I was quite impressed - I suppose you DO get what you pay for !
