Panasonic Viera TX-L26X10 Review

This is a good TV, but, it comes with terms and conditions not stated in the sales promotion.



This product is advertised as having an Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), but it doesn't state that use of it is conditional on watching adverts that take up about a third of the screen.



It is very very annoying to be forced to watch adverts when using this product, and there is no excuse for it.



When I contacted Panasonic they compared this with TV advertising, but this would only be a valid comparison if they were giving the TV sets away for free (in the way that you don't have to pay to watch commercial television).



This is a top of the range TV and not cheap, and it is disgraceful that Panasonic has such contempt for its customers. This is a, shoddy practice, and Panasonic should be ashamed of themselves - it's certainly the last Panasonic product I will buy.
