General Comments

I bought a new BSA supersport 0.25" caliber air rifle in the U.S. 16 ft. lb. version and the recoil was very bad. It was so bad I was afraid it would knock the fillings out of my teeth. The only pellet I could find that would fit in the tight bore was the .25 cal. Rhino. The Rhino is a pretty good pellet, but it's not one of my favorites. I sent it back in short order and got my money back. I have spent many years airgunning and find BSA to be one of my least favorite guns. I also have a BSA meteor that just collects dust because the plastic sights were knocked off by a very small twig while walking through the woods. My advice, don't buy any BSA products.

Ron does not seem to have a good word to say about BSA air guns! Well Ron you do have some valid points on the Supersport, The recoil which is horrenous, affects the accuracy. The Supersport should not be on the shelves in its current form.It should have had any problems ironed-out in the testing and design stage. It is not for customers to mess about with having to put different springs etc, onto a new rifle and then to find it shakes the scopes to pieces.
But I don't agree that all BSA airguns are bad, Far from it!
BSA make some of the finest airguns with very good price.
Take a look at the Lightning a fantastic low priced rifle that will out-gun rifles at twice the price, The SuperTen perfect! And as for the BSA Meteor a great rifle for general plinking etc.
