my 1990 h-reg zzr600 purchased from ebay for £10.50, it was all in pieces and took just over 3 months to build useing donor parts from other makes of bikes.zx636 headers, zxr7 callipers, zx6r linkpipe n can, zxr400 rear shock, honda front fender.. streetfightered and on the road for the grand total of nil.. performance is excellent , stopping is great, handles as well as a modern sports bike, and is just as fast or is that just cos i'm a lunatic. looks a bit messy paint wise but not had chance to sort that yet. 2700miles covered since build in all weathers total miles on engine is 43000 and still going strong. only problem is lack of a fuel guage..... looking forward to summer with my fairweather rider buddies. i would buy one of these bikes again and again, had a busa before n god was it fast and handled really well given its size but if it came to a choice between a zzr600 or another busa, the zzr would win my affection. its just so easy to ride both in and out of town and because its not very wide , is a doddle thru traffic. 10 out of 10 from me, dazza from wednesbury
