If this is the future of budget air travel I will walk, go by sea or drive to a UK destination and chance the weather. It's a few years since I have travelled with Ryanair, but was forced to use them as they are the only airline flying out of Luton to Dublin on a business trip. Ryanair has changed so much for the worse, whilst safety is still of the utmost importance the plane manufacturers have been forced by Ryanair to cut down on everything. The overhead luggage holders are so flimsy; one flew open when the pilot threw the plane on the runway at Dublin. The seats have the bare essentials. Due to the ridiculous hold baggage charges everyone takes as much as possible in the cabin allowance and the cabin crew have to crush the bags to fit into the flimsy overhead lockers. . On both my Dublin flights the crew were Eastern European and neither of the Head Stewardesses could speak clear English so whatever she said would have to be ignored. No friendly approach by cabin staff either. At Luton Airport there was no organisation in boarding the flights with passengers getting mixed up with another flight leaving at the same time. The entire luggage is checked before boarding so if it is half an inch too big, you will pay a lot of money for that extra half an inch. I just pray the likes of Easyjet etc don't go the same way, and be run by someone that has no consideration for what goes on with their passengers during a flight and only interested in making themselves multi millionaires. Yes we all like cheap flights but not where we end up being treated like cattle to the slaughter.
