Skoda Octavia vRS Review

I've owned my mk1 octavia vrs for around two years now, and absolutely love it! It's a proper performance car yet has understated looks and can be bought quite cheaply. The 1.8T engine has plenty of pull, and will hit around 70mph in second gear, which can put a nice big grin on even the sternest of faces! (and a decidedly concerned look on the face of the BMW 3-series driver shrinking in your rear-view mirror!) The interior of the octy is fairly well equipped with half-leather sports seats as standard, and the boot is simply cavernous! (especially if you go for the vrs estate!)

I'm looking to trade in my vrs soon, and have quite a healthy budget, yet after trawling through the classifieds I can honestly say that NOTHING I've seen (focus st, renaultsport megane, civic type-r etc.) can match the appeal of my octy... A damn fine car...
