The new updates for magic jack render this product useless . Built within magic jack is Internet explorer 6 which has a myriad of security issues . To use this product without having said product relay information off my computer to another party . I had to install Norton Anti Virus and disable Explorer 6 and use Safari Explorer ( by Apple : Free download ) . If you an online banker and etc , do not buy this product . My advise is use a VOIP not connected to your computer such as Ooma ( http://www.ooma.com ) . More and more are moving towards becoming tether to their computer in addiction with wireless products . Windows 7 offer user the ability to control products all from your computer . Thus relying heavy on your firewall . Should your computer infrastructure is breached , You now faced with a world of problems . To prevent penny wise and pound foolish , invest in products ( Phone service , computers ) not readily sharing information from your computer to others . Most high government offices such as FBI Headcounters employ this stander of operation , why shouldn't you .
