I have three children and used SMA gold on my first two without any problems, they were left satisfied and asleep after each feed. However all babies are different and my youngest had to be moved onto Aptimil as SMA gold made him sick. I have heard many midwives comment on how rich and heavy SMA gold is so it can put babies in alot of pain if it isn't the right one for them.
