I give LifeSource Water Systems a one star because the water does taste good from the tap. This is about the only positive statement I can make of this system. Hard water deposits are back everywhere. We have to use a lot more soap than previously with a salt system. Customer service is horrible. Worst $3,000+ investment I have ever made. And they false advertise - It is NOT a water softener alternative and it is NOT "zero maintenance for 15 years" you have to replace an expensive filter ever 6 month. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Our smallest system is tested to ANSI/NSF 42 to last for 1.6 million gallons. National averages of water usage for a family of four is 100K gallons /year. The life of the product for each customer depends on their actual water usage. We have been in business for 26 years and have systems that are over 20 years old and still working. We do not remove the healthy minerals from the water, as they have been proven by the World Health Organization to be beneficial.
