As a sufferer from dust mite allergy I had wanted a steam cleaner for some time and purchased the Polti Vaporetto 2400 when money allowed. It is terrible to use as it cuts out every 3 seconds so you have to keep depressing the trigger constantly. I counted at least 100 times just to clean one mattress. Many years ago I had repetetive strain injury from using an appliance that had a hand pump and cannot use this as already I can feel the injury coming on again. The adverts should make this very clear as it would be impossible for anyone with any condition such as this or arthritis (even if just mild) to attempt to use this thing. It was over £200 and a complete waste of money. It seems mad to sell something that is essentially to improve health by sterilizing the home only to cause amnother problem.
