Sky Sports Football Score Centre Review

I'm not necessarily always near a tv screen on a Saturday afternoon so having an app that can tell me the latest scores i want, is a must have for me.



Sky Sports is THE football channel and the app is great for telling me what i want to know and when. Including latest scores, commentary latest, match stats, team line-ups etc.



Much like the Sky Sports News channel, there's a ticker running along the bottom of the screen telling you the latest news which is a really nice touch and means that even if i navigate away from the 'news' section, the latest and biggest news is still on view.



Four easy to navigate buttons on the main screen 'home' 'my scores' which records all the scores from the games you want to keep an eye on. Lastly there's the 'news' button, which is pretty straight forward, providing you with football's latest news.



The app has scores from all around Europe so it's not just for those interested in the Premiership. It covers English football (all divisons) Scottish football (all major leagues) Welsh, Irish, Greek, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Portugese, German, Belgian and Dutch leagues.....and probably more that i can't remember.



The only thing that annoys me a little about the app, is that compared to others i've tried, it doesn't remember the team i support, so each time i have to go through the process of checking the league games and then selecting my team to see the score. I'd like another button added at the bottom of the screen "my team' perhaps - which gives me scores and news specific to my team.



This is the only reason i give this a 4/5.
