I Don't know if you can make a VHS copy from a DVD.

General Comments
This Dansai 852 DVD PLAYER is Excellent! It offers all the things you require. Not only that, but the Price is the best! You can't go wrong! Only thing is that i don't know if you can make a copy of DVD to VHS. And also is it possible that you can connect extra speakers to the dvd player? Please, if any one knows about it can you please let me know! Thanks

To make copies on to VHS you need to disable "macrovision" in the factory set up menu: No disc in player,setup,stop,previous,next. This will bring the factory menu for changing regions and disaling macrovision copy protection. You cannot connect speakers directly to this model but you can connect an amplifier with speakers attatched or any form of hi-fi stack with a "line" or "aux" input for audio playback.
