I love this car so much in summer but im finding it a nightmare once it snows. In fact the tiniest bit of ice and it is unable to cope. It slides around all over the place, it has no grip at all. Any ideas to improve this???

All Rear WHeel drive cars behave this way in snow and ice I'm afraid. If you want grip in the snow, then a FWD car with skinny tires is for you, although hardly as much fun as a Club Sport :-)

When driving a large engined rear wheel drive cars on ice or snow, use the highest gear that the car will pull so that you are using torque instead of horse power. I have driven lots of BMW's and also large engined classic Jaguars in ice and snow and have found the torque from these big engines makes driving in slippery conditions a cinch when using the correct technique.
