The mossberg 835 is an amazing firearm . I have owned it for about six years and use it at the skeet range and in the duck blind. The gun and I have never been out performed by my more experienced buddies and their more expensive benelli's. The only problem I have experienced was due to poor maintenance when the screw that holds the shell ejector in place rattled out. That was quickly replaced with lock tight and has never happened again. This gun is punished for an average of 500 (+/-) rounds per year and isn't showing any signs of weakness. When I bought the gun I didn't even know what exactly to look for and am fortunate that it manages everything from 2 3/4" to 3 1/2" with ease. It is such a solid performer that I want to buy it's sibling the 935 so I can have an identical shooting semi automatic.
