As a 40 year old dad involved in various clubs and activities, I need to be contactable and be able to send texts quickly and simply to groups of people. This phone looks smart and feels robust but is really annoying to use. The menus are badly arranged, the default short cuts are poor and not very short and the texting user interface is terrible (toggle between different modes to choose between upper or lower case or numbers, impossible to add words to the predictive dictionary, need to swap modes when predicitive text can't find your word so that you can spell it letter by letter). Despite numerous attempts I've not been able to figure out how to send a text to more than one person - and it's not saved so you have to write the whole thing again! Although you can load your own ringtones to replace the unpleasant christmas carols it comes with, your can't replace the text-tone with a beep - you're stuck with silent or a concerto!
The alarm is either tune or fm radio - no vibrate option - this makes it useless to me as I don't want wake up my wife every morning I go running.
I don't use the camera much anyway but had a go over Christmas - the camera freezes the image when you take the picture, but not on the shot it took - just to increase the difficulty of capturing a particular shot!
The contacts list appears to limit the name to only a dozen characters - which truncated all the names i'd brought in on my sim card.
On the whole a smart but terrible phone! I don't replace my phone often - normally only when it falls apart - but I expect to replace this one almost immediately.
