I have the Linpus Linux operating system with 1gb ram and a 16gb solid state hard drive. This is a superb piece of kit and has functioned flawlessly. It is NOT a desktop or high end laptop replacement, but as a highly portable web surfer and email reader it excels. I love mine and would recommend it to anyone providing their planned use of it takes its limitations into account. The lack of bluetooth is a pest but my desktop does that job for me. The battery life is roughly two hours, but by then the 8.9" screen will have strained your eyes anyway! I wish I'd bought one sooner.
