Bad Points
Heavy, beware of processor speed dropping to 700 MHz, even when you're plugged into the mains. This is easily solved though.
General Comments
Dell build quality seems to be top notch, even at the budget level. The 2500 Laptop is not a mobile system, but if you want a space saving alternative to a desktop, this doeas the trick. For a minimal cost, you can get a 15" TFT screen, and 256 MB RAM. The Graphics memory is limited to 12 MB (partly shared), and there's no TV out for the DVD player, but for the extra outlay to get these features on any other laptop, you can buy a Playstation 2.
