Suzuki GSX 1300R Hayabusa Review

Returned from a long spell in Oz in the summer and, facing a mid life crisis, and the Uk weather, I bought a Hayabusa completely unseen. Knew very little about the bike or model except that I thought that Id seen one once and didnt like the styling! Impetuous? Definitely. Completely barking mad? Definitely not. The bike is awesome! For me it drives beyond its reputation as a missile with a tax disc attached! And, as a middle aged bloke, this bike gives me back the oooomph I used to feel as a 21 year old! To my peers it is sooo not sensible to own as a sunny day plaything but for me the Feel Good factor wins any arguement! Pride of ownership gives me a real buzz and my ego is massaged every time I back off in the lower gears and listen to the carbon pipes do there thing.Almost childish I know, but still a buzz. Bro has a Blackbird .. nice but no mystique. Everyone over 40 should own a Busa at least once .. if only for a day!
