“Thrilled with the car. Very Comfortable for driver...”

Thrilled with the car. Very Comfortable for driver and passengers. Great mile-eater. Top gear(6th)gives about 37.5 mph/100rpm so it is very refined at higher cruising speeds. Fuel consumption is good. About 50 mpg if you don't drive aggresively. Turbo Diesel gived very good acceleration when it is required.

Commodious boot.

Low profile tyres fitted on alloys on my car possibly contribute to road noise. However, handling is superb.

Only two niggles:-

1 - Controls good except that I do not like the main/dipped-beam switch arrangement. Click for up click again for down. I preferred my old model's definite positions of the switch for each setting. Switch on the lights and they may have been left on full beam and so you might dazzle other users until you operate the dip switch.

2 - there is too much automatic operation. For example, operate the windscreen washer and the wipers come on. You cannot wet the screen beforehand. This is bad for the occasions when there may be a lot of mud and you want to get the water on first or if there is some frost, you want to get the antifreeze washer fluid on to the screen before the wipers start grinding away. On my car the wipers are noisy ( squeaks of the blades and thumps at the end of strokes).
