Ok, this is a long review as have copied exact emails in. In summary, awful customer service, but good products. In detail... read on!



Ordered item from the website which in itself was fine and easy to use. I waited about 10 days and then sent an email to the company to chase up the order. I got a very bland reply back saying "The order has been sent Royal Mail Second Class delivery which takes 1-5 working days. If the item is lost in the post then we must wait until 14 working days to re-send it." Ok that is fine, but when your a customer ordering items for a planned trip its hard for you to wait 14 days and THEN have another item sent out that could have the same situation. I do appreciate that this is awkard for the company but causes the customer issue.



I replied asking when the 14 days had to be from. Simple question, and reasonable I would say! They replied with "that is 14 days from it being sent, which will be on your order" Seriously that was all they said. Lets be honest they could have looked and replied with the dates for me. A bit of customer service whereby you check the order and reply with the dates would be helpful! So I replied and said "Your reply was far from helpful. I have waited and waited and checked the order. It doesnt say what day it was sent only that the order was placed on the 1st november and is in transit. I am leaving the country next thursday and want these for the trip. If these have been lost i think it best you cancel the order and refund the money. I cant risk waiting another 2+ weeks so will have to shop elsewhere." Which i think is fair!



Suddenly got this reply "if you could call tom and speak to chris he will get another pair sent out to you and claim for the goods lost, he is the returns manager and can deal with this for you!!!" Ok, maybe a minor point but was it just me that thought I had to phone a bloke called TOM! Its an email to a customer not a text message to your mate. Good English would be appreciated. And to be honest for a pair of sea shoes I felt I was being given the run around! So me and my partner kept calling and kept being told Chris wasnt about. Then finally got him and he was pretty blunt and rude, wondering why we were calling him!?! Told him the situation and was told there werent any actually in stock! So said I would cancel the order and then suddenly it was "oh actually we do have some, will send them out first class recorded today"!! The next day we recieved them, and they were very good quality.



If hadnt had the severe lack of communication and lack of understanding then I would have highly rated the shop, but I didnt so bad marks!
