Good points: generally great food, generous on drinks, seat space - especially on airbus,hot towels,generally good customer service (there's always that one though) and staff handled a difficult passenger well, advanced warning about turbulance from crew, crew good with children, ICE, arriving very refreshed and relaxed despite last minute landing card completion rush.
Bad points: breakfast twice (great food but served again on the next connecting flight) followed by chicken tikka roll and a cookie for lunch - great- but not enough after nearing 20hrs travel on return, childrens snack box not very healthy, poor movie and music selection on ICE - same on way and way back, handing out landing cards late on arrival and having to wait 50 mins for a passengers baggage to be removed in Dubai.
Overall we were really happy with our emirates experience and would definately fly with them again. We booked about 6 months ahead and got a reasonable price and an experience that exceeded our expectations.
