I've been with Orange for years, and hadn't experienced any problems, however, I recently went into an Orange shop to buy a PAYG phone. I explained that I liked Nokia and that I use the phone mostly for texting. They sold me an Orange Rome which is the direst most useless phone ever, especially it's texting function. Tried to return the phone to change it for something that actually met the requirements I'd specified and was told that Orange no longer have a 14 days returns policy and that I was basically stuck with the phone, even though the guy in the shop agreed the text function was abyssmal! Having had no luck in the shop, I wrote a letter of complaint, but months later I have still not received a reply. V poor customer service, and not impressed with the no returns policy - I've decided that next time I'm going with someone else.

    Hi, I had a similar problem and went to trading standards and they have reacted to that. Give it a try.
