We used Jet2 for the for first time this year travelling to Tenerife from Manchester on 17th October and returning on 31 October, and I must admit I was rather nervous about having booked with them after reading some of the reviews on here. However we were very pleasantly surprised! The outward journey took off on time and even got into Tenerife South airport 15 minutes early, the cabin crew were pleasant, the plane was clean enough and there was nothing to indicate that it was an old plane. Return journey was a little late because they had missed the slot coming out of Manchester but they soon made up the time, getting back into Manchester 15 minutes later than scheduled. Again cabin crew were pleasant, they even dressed up for Halloween! Cannot comment on the meals as we didnt purchase but we did have a panini toastie on the outbound flight which was quite nice. We did however purchase the extra legroom option for more comfort. Would definitely recommend them and would have no hesitation in booking with Jet2 again. Top marks!
