just got back from a brilliant weekend at the wwe dx invasion tour at mine head. After reading some of the reveiws i was a little worried as to what to expect. Well i need'nt have worried, booked a silver 2 bed room ( stayed at ocean point , promenade grove) . arrived at the resort at 12:15 and was told room was ready (4pm on booking form)got keys but couldnt find accomodation a mem ber of the housekeeping staff saw we were lost and walked us right to the door.me and my family entered the room not knowing what to expect,but what we found was a clean and very tidy room.No smells as previous reveiws have reported, beds were comfortable and we had to turn the heating off sometimes because it got too warm .we went d,b&b food was good with a good choice for children aswell.Found all staff very helpful.The entertainment was good all weekend .Only a few minor niggles showers were cold in family changing rooms at the pool suggest you use male /female showers instead and maybe a few more of the activities could be free or not so expensive like the mini golf,10 pin bowling etc. The wwe merchandise was expensive ,but that was not butlins fault. This was our first visit to butlins and we had a brilliant weekend and will definatly be going back.
