Based on these reviews I made an appointment with Rodolfo. I have been coloring my hair for 25 years and this is by far the worst experience that I have ever had. My roots were much darker than the rest of my hair so I asked Rodolfo if he could even out my color. He told me that he would "fix it". What I ended up with were my natural roots still showing (about 3 inches worth) and the rest of my hair a new color (which wasn't even close to my natural color). When I asked Rodolfo why he did not color my hair all the way to the roots he told me that he didn't color my roots because my hair would eventually blend. The problem is that my roots were still much darker than the rest of my hair and it looked like I still needed a "touch up". What was the purpose of shelling out $300.00 (outrageous cost for services rendered) and leaving the salon looking like I didn't even have my hair colored! After this experience I have to question the validity of these glorious reviews. Rodolfo himself must have written all of them.

It must be an angry competitor or a malicious person. Is worlwide known that Rodolfo Valentin is the best hairstylist in NYC. He has over 30 years of experience in hair color, hair extensions and a great heart giving for free 4.000 dollars wigs to cancer patients that otherwise cannot afford to purchase one. I am his customer almost 20 years...don't hurt good people because the universe can hurt you back in response.
