Absoloutely awful. Taken my money and then Im told I have no insurance as I havent paid. What they've done must be illegal. Call centre not uk based and can be communication difficulties. Dont do what they promise. Never again. I will pay the extra for a better company in future, avoid.

    I cannot agree more!! My motor insurance was up for renewal this year. My wife paid cash through her bank some two weeks prior to the actual renewal date which was at the end of October. I received a letter from "More Than" on 4-11-09 stating that they had indeed received payment for the renewal of the insurance but that they had cancelled my policy on 21-10-09 as payment had n't been paid on time!!!!
    They requested we contact them which we did and found out that the small print of the policy states that payment should be paid 3 weeks in advance of the renewal date. Ridiculous I can hear you all say and I concur. After nearly an hour on the phone to Calcutta they agreed to reinstate my policy but to be honest I will be double checking. What they did I feel is almost criminal. In effect I had been driving without insurance (unwittingly) for about two weeks.
