In .270 cal, I have a wonderful gun for the money, first thing was to have the trigger jeweled and the pull is now at 1 1/2 lbs, replaced the 3x9x40 with a DOA 3x12x40 and am able to shoot out to 600 yards. Winchester 130 gain Silvertip Ballistics are within 1/2 inch MOA at 100 yards in a quick 3 shot grouping. Considering these changes make it a "custom" rifle to me and I will take any shot at a pig or a whitetail with anyone...300 yards or longer is not an issue, it isn't the rifle folks, it is the shooter. Have all the confidence in the firearm, take care of it and you will be served well by it no matter what you paid for it!!
