I purchase my winchester 1000 model at a close out sale Kmart for 51.00 with tax. I did this to test the quality of the Turkish made air rifle.
right out of box the cocking was full of roughness. so I took synthetic oil,
Lubed the spring all hindges with out the taking stock off.The fired a few rounds out the barrel. then I clean the rifling with brush solvent and cloth. removed the sites on barrel and mounted a 3x9 power 40mm scope.
I found that the scope movement was wicked from the recoil. I then return scope and mounts and tried two lazor sites and had same problem keeping it on point. Then the 4th scope system seem to do the trick. a center point scope just appeared on the shelf when returning the two lazor sites. this scope is 30mm for 22 cal rifle but had a much better way of securing the scope to the rifle. fix for the trigger was just take stock off and lube with same oil. only complaint on the rifle is the saftey will not allow your to uncock the main spring safely. target grade groups are not a problem now Keeping all shots on same vertical line easly at 30 yards.

POWERLINE 1000x REVIEW
The bluing was very nice on it and had bold gold lettering with the Daisy Powerline 1000X name on it. It has some nice tru-glow front and rear sights and is very accurate even without a scope.
