I was hit by an uninsured driver and though the repairs were carried out in an okay manner (it did require a second trip to have all the tape marks, after the respray, removed). The customer service was appalling. They NEVER returned calls and leave you hanging on their 0870 numbers for half an hour at a time when you try calling them. To get any response out of them I had to twice make official complaints. When trying to recover the money they didn't go through the Motor Insurance Bureau as every other company did who ha drivers hit by the same uninsured driver, but tried going through the courts - despite police advice not to. I knew more about some aspects of insurance law than their customer service department. They hiked my premiums astronomically because - in their words I was more likely to make an at fault claim because I had been unlucky enough to have been hit by this driver... can you see the logic in that I can't? This company is a nightmare don't go near them.
