i sold my 04 plateaudi tt to we buy any car,they valued it at 9150 a bit less than hoped for but i couldnt sell it anywhere else,audi valued it at around 12000 if i part exchanged it against a new one but that wernt happening.when i got there after inspection it dropped to 8500,gutted but the guy spotted my car had been painted all over,even more gutted as i brought it from audi 6months old.overall a bit disappointed with the price but it was no nonsense and exactly how they said"subject to appraisal", ithink if you read the site properly then you will be prepared.if you can sell your car privately then theres no need to go down this route,work it out for yourself!
