This LG has performed out of the box for the last 12 months very reliably and presented excellent quality.
Remember that the glass used in LCD's that include the LCD imaging technology is only manufactured by 5 manufacturers in the world, even Sony up until recently do not manufacture their glass. LG glass is one of one of the 5.
An HD sat box produces stunning pictures. I would however make the point that the contrast ratio is not as high as can be found today, particularly with the LED backlit technology of Samsung glass.
I would have no problem in recommending this product as very very good value for money.
