Malgrat de Mar is a horrible place packed with shops selling absolute rubbish.Hotel Monteplaya is passable but their menus although self service are for the most part diabolical-a good place to lose weight.Their policy of allocating a fixed dining table means you are stuck with who ever else has been allocated that table for the length of your stay.Whilst Shearings excursions are the best part of your stay it would have been advantageous to get more honest opinions of this place.I can confirm that the walls and ceilings are so thin that you can hear every thing that is happening in adjacent rooms and areas.
