Well... where do I start... PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS. When I was walking up to the chalet I had my doubts and they were confirmed as I walked in. The smell of damp hits you like a hammer to the head and the furnishings are outdated. The beds are hard and uncomfortable and the wall where I moved the bed was covered in mould. Asked for another chalet which was exactly the same and there 'wasn't an upgrade available'. Light fell off the wall when we tried to move it. Both my boyfriend and I got suspiciously ill after being perfectly healthy the day before. Staff was friendly enough and cornwall was perfect. Nice woodland and carbis bay was the highlight of my trip. But there is a reason we called our quiz team 'team mildew'. The accomodation just isn't good enough, but being brought up to make the most of things it didn't completely ruin the holiday. A mixed week at best.

having also holiday here, i must agree this is the worse accomodation, what worries me is john fowler dont care, the tourist board dont care, the council dont care and environmental health do not cover holiday accomodation, trading standards have helped but until everyone complains to john fowler and to every authority in cornwall people will still suffer, i am appauled and urge everyone to do something
