I started looking for something to replace my ageing but fun Rover 620Ti. I've always been a fan of the Fiesta since driving a 2006 base model 1.4TDCi, the handling was fantastic, but didn't fancy going from nearly 200bhp back down to a 1.4 diesel. I was interested in the 2.0ST but decided that ideally i'd like the latest shape.

So I went for the new 1.6 Zetec S, Had it a month or so now and absolutely love it, the handlings just as good as the previous model, its refined and comfortable and feels like a car from the next class up. The engine is punchy and pulls well in all gears and is very quick off the mark. Steering is light and responsive in town and well weighted and fun when the roads get a bit faster.

The interior is solid and well designed and again, feels like a much bigger car than it actually is. Mines got the street pack with privacy glass which looks well smart. im a 22 year old guy and was a bit worried that it might be a bit girly but the Zetec S is beefed up a bit with 17" alloys, big rear spoiler and front and rear skirts. Overall a fantastic warm-hatch that will always give you a smile on your face whether you're darting around town, hitting the motorway or on twisty country lanes.
