Although I have not made a claim on my tesco dog insurance I would like to inform any prospective buyers of tesco insurance that that they have adopted the same "rogue traders" approach when it comes to renewing your policy.My insurance for one year was £11.00, when it came up for renewal one year later they increased it to £14.55. They had the cheek to inform me that they have reviewed the policy and that this is the best price. WHAT A LOAD OF OLD TOSH. I went straight on the net and entered my details for a new quote and 'hey presto' its £11.00, what a con. They also increase your excess premium as well. They claim that this is to keep your premiums as low as possible, utter nonsense, just another insurance trick.
It really anoys me that these companies behave in this manner, just to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. You will find that a lot of large organisations opperate this way. They are just hoping that the customer will not bother to check,or forget, to shop around for a better deal. (look out for aa,rac,etc) So tesco, Im taking my business elsewhere and spending the £3.55 a month that I am not going to give you, and spend it on dog treats !!!
