Appalling customer service by Fonesafe Insurance. I accidentally dropped my phone and damaged the screen, which rendered the phone unusable. I tried to make a claim but was told that I was not covered as I 'hadn't taken reasonable precautions' to prevent the damage!
When I asked to speak to a manager, as I was not happy with this decision, my request was refused and I was directed to this site to make a formal complaint (which is not the correct procedure) and told that it would take 5 days to sort out.
I feel that the insurance was sold to me by T-mobile under false pretences and that Fonesafe is simply trying to avoid paying out on the claim. This is supported by many other reviews I have read on the internet from other customers who have stated their extreme disatisfaction with Fonesafe.
I am now going to lodge a formal complaint and if my claim is still denied I intend to pursue it through the Financial Ombudsman.
