Pt 2 - the forecourt for some diesel at 10:40hrs. I used the transmitter. I waited 10 mins and used it again. At 11:05hrs I tearfully summoned a motorist to go in and ask one of the 3 people behind the counter to come and serve me. I left at 11:09hrs and the crem. doors were just closing when I arrived.
I ran short of diesel and had to go there again a fortnight ago. Same thing happened! Bearing in mind that the remote bleeper sounds inside and a staff member has to cancel it - and a flashing light shows me that my aim was good - I am at a loss as to why the staff totally ignore it! I was patient and left at least 5 mins between beeps. (10 if there was a queue inside). A frustrated man in a white van behind me came to my window and asked me to move as I was blocking the diesel queue. When I explained that I was still waiting to be served he went in and fetched someone. 6 cars had come and gone behind me and I had sat there for 35 mins. The young man apologised, put my diesel in and, on the way home I could hear a strange noise......when I alighted from my vehicle I could see that he had left the panel open and the cap off - so diesel had slopped all down the side! I do not call this good service, it is a disgrace! Since then I have driven to Morrisons in Stamford and they are fantastic!
