Dear friends,

I'm Spanish and I work for record rentacar and I can CONFIRM that all the messages are completely RIGHT. Since 2 years ago, the quality of the service in Record has dropped dramaticaly. REcord doesn't care about customers, the company wants only money. The employees, we are fed up of the company's policies: to charge for fuel at higer prices, to sell some non-sense insurances, to lie to customers saying cars are new (FALSE!!!). All the cars we had this summer were about 3-4 years old (you can tell it from the plate; if starting by "G" is at leat 2008). Most of them are vans like berlingo, which used to belong to another spanish rentacar hiring to building companies. As RecordGo is a bad company, the employees have to deal with customers and we know that they are right! To be honest, I recommend you not to book with record. I know I may be fired out from my job, but I don't want to lie and cheat on more people. It is false that we have a new fleet (3 years old cars and not checked by mechanics), it is false that our price on fuel is cheaper, always there are hidden extras, child seats are really filthy (never cleaned since bought). I really feel embarrassed for all this. We don't have the means to solve the problems, and when we get a complain, the company says it's OUR fault, because employees are unefficient!!! Ridiculous! If they provide a good service, no complain. So even though I work for them, I never rent a car with record, as I don't want to drive a dangerous car. Think that if the price is cheap, there is a reason, well perhaps there are more than just one reason. Safety is important, but not for record as no jackets nor triangles are provided. Cars are not checked (oil, water, brakes, tyres, belts) and are unsafe. Sorry for my English, I hope you can understand all this and think twice before hiring with recordgo. Best regards
