I was shocked when I saw the prices for a round-trip flight to Honduras ($250), and so I jumped at the chance to visit my family. The flights weren't too long, but the seats are small, so they made the flights a bit uncomfortable. But that didn't really bother me. What did bother me was the incredibly rude stewardess on my flight back from Honduras to Miami. Literally 15 minutes before the plane landed at MIA, the woman decided that I needed to put my bag in the compartment above my seat. I could hardly hear her and she had been rude to me earlier, so this just upset me even more. I told her that I could hardly hear her, and she started going off on how I was being rude and disrespectful to her and that she could have me ARRESTED as soon as I got off the plane. She completely ruined the end of my vacation. The worst thing is that I called the airline to complain, and was told that they didn't take complaints over the phone. The cheap fare was not worth having the extremely rude stewardess--who could hardly speak English-- treat me like crap. I'd have to be on a really tight budget or really desperate to fly American Airlines again.
