I was hit by a young driver coming round a corner and misjudged as going too fast and smashed into the wing and driver door of my two year old Corsa. I was assured when I logged the claim that they would do everything - wrong. I am still actually waiting for a call back from them and its almost three weeks. The car was not fitting as daylight/rain could get in. I thought I had an automatic car given to me but no only a courtesy car for the length of the repair. I continue to drive the car from the Saturday when the accident happened till the following Friday as the body repair garage had no courtesy cars till then. During this time Churchill have done nothing to help I have been making all the phone calls to the crash repairers trying to get my car in. Thursday of the following week I get a call from the repairers to say they will have to take my courtesy car back as they cant get the door panel and I said what am I to do with no car - they said they had phoned Churchill and they said take the car back with no care at all or phone call to me to try and help me - I was very stressed as have no other transport and live on my own. As luck with have it the part came in the next day so I could keep the courtesy car but at no time have I had a call from Churchill - your customer service is rubbish. Sadly my renewal was too close to the accident for me to change as had enough trying to get my car fixed so renewed but next year they will not be getting my business and I have been with them at least 5 years continuous with no claims - easy money in my books but when you need them - you can forget getting any help. I wrote a letter to the Sales and Service Director two weeks ago and he has not afforded me the courtesy of a response - so if he does not respond what chance do you have with his staff.
