i ordered a number of items on a thursday morning and was given a code for free next day delivery. i still ended up though paying the extra £5.95 which i was not bothered with as i needed the clothes for the weekend as i was going on holiday.
the parcel should have been delivered to my parents address as i was at work but by the time i returned home the parcel still wasnt there. phoned parcelforce to be told the earliest it would be delivered was monday. they said this happens alot with asos, and that they know goods will not be delivered on the said date.
i contacted asos who did reply quickly but all it said was that yes there was a delay.
explained reasons for the order but all i got back was that they would refund the delivery charge but that should not have been charged in the first place!
told them to get the parcel back and refund my money. they replied that they would do this but would not refund my money until the parcel was back in their warehouse.
this is terrible service as they debited my card on the friday which was very quick,then they still sent me an email on the friday saying if i order on friday between 4pm and 6pm i could get free next day delivery!!!!
