Saw and wanted to buy a 525SE. Good price. Finance arranged next day, manager said "couldn't" calculate APR (a legal requirement), and something any 12 year old could do. Car due to be collected four days later - stereo didn't work, clear from logbook was supposed to have been exported to Thailand. Offered an alternative - other car nothing like the first one, it has been mucked around, lots of scratches, pulled off fascia, generally a mess - yet it's made out like they were trying to do me a favour. Told stereo would be fixed in four days. went back two weeks later - asked if I'd give them four more days. Six pass, have call asking me to call manager. I do - he gets his PA to fob me off, saying he's too busy, but car is now ready. Now go down there - my fifth trip. Manager comes out. I say he was too busy to return the call the call he sked me to make in the first place. He says he's "always busy". (I'm busy too) I say enough is enough, and without apologising, sends his PA to refund my substantial deposit. He (Mike Watkins) comes across as smug, arrogant, and self-satisfied. Not at all interested in me. Six weeks waiting, all along they can't answer basic questions - why is the manual written in Thai? When was the car manufactured? Where has it been since manaufacture? What are the VIN, engine and chassis numbers? (the log book only has the VIN.)

Beware buyers - the cars are certainly cheap, but the sysytem really sucks. Will complain formally. I expect nothing.
