Having found Jaikudo/JK London specs frames in High St optician, I was quoted £99 as part of a frame + lenses (£300)package. I was then told about BuySpecsDirect who make lenses for all the high street opticians, and now sell direct to the public at great reductions. But BSD could not locate the JK London frames I wanted. I finally found them on the Metsuki website at a reduced price of £69. They arrived within a couple of days, and I got my varifocal lenses from BSD for £90! Total saving: £240!!!
The service from Metsuki was excellent, and I've now found a pair of Guess frames on their website that I might have for my 2nd pair - also £30 cheaper than optician. Highly recommeded.
