If churchill were to be run by the nodding dog, the level of customer service would make sense- i.e - there is none!
A foreign lorry hit me on the motorway. Although it was not my fault, it certainly feels like it is! I am apparently being punished for being a driver who has never had an accident and is now inconveniently asking them to get off their backsides and do some work!!
Heres why you're better to pay more with another insurer:
- It took 3 phone calls to simply get them to post a liability form to START claiming against the other driver.
- CCTV was available- this took a number of phone calls to Churchill to get them to request this
- An engineer was to be sent to assess the car to decide whether it is a write off or not- No one showed. Apparently they are in a 'transition period'. What on earth does that mean???!!!! Do people not have crashes at this time of year??!!!
- It may now take up to 3 weeks to get an engineer to assess the car. This is before ANY work can begin!
- Oh and the icing on the cake. I have no courtesy car as part of my insurance and because the lorry was foreign they can never claim back any courtesy car I choose to pay for. This does not even come up as loss of earnings etc.
I agree with a past reviewer- PUT THE DOG DOWN!!!
