This must be the most difficult company on the planet to deal with. Why make a process simple lets make it it as difficult as possible for people to deal with us.
Nobody at Fasthosts will actually read the content of any e-mail that you send to them. To send a message in the first place you have to log on to the website, log in to your account, then log in again to your account, just to send an e-mail message. Try it any other way and it will not work.
Once they reply to you, you mish to reply in turn to them. Don't bother. This is where it all falls down. Nobody actually reads a word they just come back repeating the standard dogma for whatever the problem happens to be.
BT have an identical setup. If you are foolish enough to try and phone them you will be speaking to someone for whom English is not their first language. They seem not to understand you and you will have great difficulty getting them to move off the standard script in front of them.
Our company domain was registered by a former employee in his own name instead of the business. Consequently renewal reminders were sent to him but he left the business some time ago. No renewal, domain lapsed. Now re registered in our name but good old Fasthosts insist it is still in the original name and will not allow us to renew. Some dozen or so e-mails have been sent providing every proof imaginable but still no go.
