I bought my orange Firestorm in Sept for £1500 with 29k on the clock. After a little bit of TLC and removing the add ons the previous owner thought looked good, the bike looks fantastic. I had a ZZr600 before which was quicker but not as much fun to ride as the VTR. It handles really well and has given me alot more confidance to lob it around corners etc. Power on it is superb and like everyone says - sounds excellent. The only down side is the fuel consumption but who cares and the build quality is a bit poor in places i.e corroded nuts/bolts and parts of frame are a bit rubbishy. You just need to take a bit of time and clean up.
Overall the suspension is top dollar, engine is 10/10, and I have got my interest back in going out on long rides - Well done Honda - would recomend it to anyone
