Avoid this car insurance company at all costs. I chose them due to them providing the cheapest quote both on my provisional & full licence; however, once i past my test - my premium went up way beyond what they said it would (even though it was two weeks after i first took out insurance with them).

Every single time you wish to change any of your details (which you have to do whenever anything changes in order for the insurance to be valid) they charge you £20. I've moved house twice since i took out the policy, passed my test, changed jobs & changed from fully comp to third party fire & theft - so in total thats £100 in charges. They also charge you £20 for a returned direct debit.

I was involved in an accident in March of this year - & i still have no idea what has happened with the claim etc - i have rang numerous times to see, & have been told that they'll contact me - yet i still am non the wiser.

I put in a formal complaint, which i had confirmation that it was being processed, yet that was over two months ago now - & i have had no reply or anything of my complaint.

They most recently charged me £20 for moving, which i told them about on the phone on thursday, then received a letter on monday morning telling me they were taking the £20 out of my account the next day - when i rang to say this wasn't okay - i was told i needed to contact them 3 days before to move the date - yet i'd only received the letter the day before!

The people you speak to on the phone are so rude, they might be english etc as the company likes to harp on about - but they lack interest, are impatient & unsympathetic & if they get sick of talking to you they transfer you through to a different department (which when i was ringing to complain, they transferred me through to the windscreen repair department).

hi, to be fair the insurer does make you aware of any chargers such as admin fee's if you make any changes to you policy, from their point of view, you are moving house, you passed your test, therefore it would incur admin fee's. i agree what you have paid is exessive to say the least, but it is in your documents. also the p/office wouldnt of known what your premium would of been when you passed your test and got a full uk licence. they cannot predict what the u/writer will quote you. also the claim, p/office is the broker therefore does not deal with the claim, itll either be your legal team or the underwriter. i suggest in future to double check before taking insurance out with a company to just ask them, what are the admin fee's etc... some companies can charge upto £50 per change, auto net insurance is one of them
